A lifelong designer, David is currently a brand consultant, senior customer experience analyst for S&P Capital IQ innovation lab, and the founder of Brandscience, a creative micro think tank. Additionally, David is an adjunct professor at the School of Visual Arts in their Masters in Branding Program, and teaches game theory at NYU. An artist in residence at the Nantucket Island School of Design and an editorial illustrator davidweisman.net. Besides having a creative background, David also has an MBA, the combination of which challenges the common perception of creative roles and expands the tradition of branding and business strategy.

Career Highlights Include: Creative director at Interbrand; game animator at SEGA; and product designer at Nils Tvensberg Design A/S, Oslo Norway.

David’s passions include playing freeform jazz -- saxophone, drums, and guitar through a highly distorted tube, and singing. He's also into mountain biking, hiking, pottery, designing passive solar green habitats, and anything that has wheels, motors or that makes a lot of noise.

  Catherine Duffy, COO, crosses over from legal management world and brings her contract and negotiation strengths to Brandscience, as well as experience from the world of finance, operations, accounting, human resources, information technology (IT) and marketing. Her academic background includes an MBA from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College. Her undergraduate degree in Psychology has become an invaluable asset to her professional relationships on the work front.  
  Rolf Pielemeier, Entrepreneurial Knowledge Manager, Seer & Soothsayer. Previously a Technical Consultant & Integration Project Manager at ProQuest, and Solution Consultant at Thomson Reuters, in San Francisco, Rolf is an extraordinary technologist and business visionary. He has an MBA in Information Systems, Marketing, & Strategy from University of Michigan Stephen M. Ross School of Business. His expertise includes thinking. Also startup technology, business strategy, online marketing publishing technology, database design, intellectual property, and corporate IT.  

Michelle Ticknor, Futurist, brings social energy and creative leadership to strategic business projects and brand development. Coupled with a powerful visual sensibility and a knack for capturing consumer trends, Michelle has developed and executed branding, marketing, and business development strategies across the arenas of contemporary art and design, food, entertainment, apparel, and sensuality.

Michelle holds an MBA from Baruch College - Zicklin School of Business and a BA in Fine Arts from Brandeis University.

Currently, Michelle is a consultant with the Rockwell Group working on international branding programs here and in Dubai.


Anthony M. Catsimatides, Architect, AIA, NCARB, born in NYC, a registered architect in NY, NJ, CT & CA. Mr. Catsimatides received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Pratt Institute and a Masters of Architecture from Syracuse University.
Anthony founded the Open Atelier in 2002, a New York based architectural design firm committed to the advancement of sustainable and green design practices, technologies, and their impact on us and the environment. Besides publishing articles on modernism and preservation, he has lectured at the Syracuse Center of Excellence Symposiums, College of Environmental Science and Forestry, SUNY Morrisville, and the San Francisco Chapter of the AIA. He is the recipient of the AIA SF chapter’s Presidential Commendation.

  Zachary Bolton, Program Manager, brings his experience from the digital advertising world focusing on mobile, web 2.0 and social media. His holistic methodology includes a range of skills — usability strategy, information architecture and planning. Projects have included ESPN, MTV, NBC Universal, SunTrust, American Express, Travel + Leisure. Zach has an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management from Baruch College. He enjoys working in small creative design-centric environments. Additionally, Zach drives a scooter and lives in Fort Green Brooklyn.
